The Artfully Curated Workshop

Tucked away in the outskirts of Downtown Knoxville lies The Knox Exchange. Deeming itself a community creative center while being full of charm and historic character, it was meant to be that this space would be home to the Artfully Curated Workshop 2022. The Artfully Curated is an annual workshop hosted by Abigail Malone who is a local photographer and educator. As we worked with Abigail to bring an elevated educational experience to fruition we knew we needed a talented team of vendors who could execute an ethereal & victorian aesthetic.

As we sought to offer a luxe and organic floral display, Colby with Colby West Design selected an array of florals to offer the perfect transitional color palette. McCabe & Co. provided the timeless place settings to nestle into the bed of flowers as well as their garden bistro chairs to pair with the tablescape. Along with these items McCabe & Co. provided other elements that offered a luxury rental experience for the attendees to photograph. Pairing with the luxe rentals, BBJ Linen offered elevated linens that were the perfect complement to the overall feel of the day. Aligned with this vision, Loly with Little Postage House custom curated a stationary set that embodied the old world, Victorian, feel of the day.

In transforming our models, Cherith with Cherith Brooke Beauty and Claudia with Claudia Nicole Hair provided hair and makeup services leaving our models feeling confident and beautiful. Lillian Ruth Bride provided the bridal gown for the day and a transition dress for the evening while Lace Atelier provided the lingerie for our boudoir model. For the groom, The Black Tux provided the velvet tux and loafers offering a classic yet masculine impression.

This team of vendors was a dream to partner with in executing a The Artfully Curated as we strived to make this event unique in it’s own way. Our heart is that both brides & other creatives would find inspiration to draw from our work for years to come.
